The Irish Lebanon Project was set up by two Irish Lebanon Veterans who saw a need for humanitarian efforts in Lebanon while they served there as UN Peace keepers.

Micheál and Dan were initially involved in Projects the South of Lebanon, but in September of 2008 a decision was made to concentrate their efforts elsewhere.

To satisfy their new goal, The Irish Lebanon Project teamed up with "The Friends of FAID" and decided to invest all of its efforts is assisting The Father Andeweg Institute for the Deaf in Lebanon. This Project came to an end in January 2010.

In association with the Irish Legion, The Irish Lebanon Project continually fund-raise in Ireland for future Projects in Lebanon. The Irish Lebanon Project are currently canvassing for Volunteer Painters, Carpenters, Labourers, Plumbers, Teachers for a job in a two schools in Tannourine, Lebanon in October 2011.

Once again the generosity of the people of Cork in Ireland was evident during our recent fund-raising day at Douglas Court Shopping Centre, on Thursday 3^rd June, for the Irish Lebanon Project, which supports humanitarian projects in the Lebanon region.

Here's your chance to achieve that goal, raise much-needed funds for charity and have some serious fun at the same time...

You'll skydive from 10,000 feet or more, at speeds of around 120 miles per hour, securely harnessed to a professional skydiving instructor who will look after everything for you - from gearing up to touching down.

All you have to do is have the time of your life!
After an exhilarating freefall for 35 seconds or so, the parachute opens at around 5000 feet.

That's when you'll experience the amazing 5 to 7 minutes thrill of your canopy ride and soak up the most incredible panoramic views.
